Pastor Man has served at CBCOP since 2004. He began his pastoral ministry in 1980 in Hong Kong. During the 1990’s, he was the General
Secretary of the Evangelical Free Church of Hong Kong, China in which he oversaw ministries of church-planting, Christian education,
social service, publication, ministerial development, and denomination affairs. He came to United States in 1998 and served at
the Chinese Evangelical Free Church of Greater Chicago in Arlington Heights from 1999-2003. Pastor Man also has a passion for overseas
missions by serving in missions organizations which serve in South Africa, Brazil, Macau, and Taiwan. Pastor Man received a Masters
of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Bachelor of Theology from Evangel Theological College.
He and his wife Margaret have two children. During his free time Pastor Man enjoys reading, photography, travelling and a friendly game of table tennis.
Pastor Raj has served at CBCOP since 2003. Previously, he ministered in a Taiwanese American Church named the Fairlawn Community Church of New Jersey from 1997-2002. He has traveled to both India and Taiwan on missions trips, been a Youth and Young Adult Minister and was once an operations manager at a bank. He received a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a B.A. in Psychology and Business from Trinity College.
Personally, he is married to his beautiful wife Nive and has two fun-loving, energetic children. Pastor Raj is an avid reader, a die-hard Cubs fan, a runner (a few 5Ks under his belt) and is known to have a mean tennis serve.
Since 2009, Pastor Pan has served at CBCOP to lead the newly planted Mandarin Congregation. From 2005 to 2008, he acted as the Assistant General Secretary of the Chicago Chinese Christian Missions. He received a Master of Art in Theology from Wheaton College. He also has a Master and Ph. D. in Material Science from the University of Delaware. He worked at Argonne National Labs for 23 years before taking the call to be a full time minister.
He and his wife Marisa have three children. During his free time Pastor Pan enjoys reading good Christian books. He loves music and singing in the choir. After a heart attack in 1991, he gave up tennis and other sports. Now he walks in the park or on the treadmill in his leisure time.
Pastor Jonathan joined the leadership of CBCOP in 2016 as the Assistant Pastor of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. He had previously served as a Director in a few different specific roles on the leadership team for the Family Ministries at Lifebridge Church of Savannah, Georgia from 2013-2016, and served prior as the Youth Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia from 2011-2012. He has done cross-cultural ministry through missions work in Virginia (USA), the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica so far and has a burden for East Asia and helping all nations hear the hope of the Gospel.
Jonathan has a broad ministry and life experience through education, travel, and great biblical and business mentorship leading up to his calling to CBCOP. Jonathan began his undergraduate career by completing a year in the nursing program at Bob Jones University. He answered the call the ministry while working on his BSN and graduated from Piedmont International University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries with a focus in Student Ministries thinking he may work in non-profit parachurch organizations. He completed dual minors in both Student Ministries and Pastoral Theology while finishing his degree.
He is married to his wife Rachel and they have 2 beautiful daughters who don't know a stranger. He enjoys improvisation, all sports, cars, video directing, movies and learning new things as often as possible. Jonathan transitioned to Chicago after working in the automotive industry at a BMW dealership for three years and looks forward to beginning his Master's degree soon.
