Welcome to the Chinese Bible Church of Oak Park

We are the Chinese Bible Church of Oak Park, a non-denominational church with English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking congregations located in beautiful Oak Park, a western suburb of Chicago.  We are one of the oldest Chinese Churches in the Chicagoland area (106 years and counting...).  In practice, this church unites three language groups into one body in love and in mission to proclaim and live out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We help people connect with God so they can unlock the power and peace of the Gospel.  It is our hope to guide people to see the reality of God's truth in their lives.  Help people where they're motivated in exploring God's truth by reading & studying on their own.  Help people to be more than hearers, but doers of the Word.  The goals of teaching have always been to Inform, Inspire, Illustrate the truth of God's Word & the gospel (love) of Jesus Christ.  Every person is unique so personal care from the church body is critical for spiritual growth.  Will you join us in that journey?

God is fair; he will not forget the work you did and the love you showed for him by helping his people.  And he will remember that you are still helping them.  We want each of you to go on with the same hard work all your lives so you will surely get what you hope for. (Hebrews 6:10-11)

2017 CHURCH THEME: FORWARD

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace! Romans 5:17 (NIV)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17

English Ministry

You would be surprised to find the diversity within the English ministry cutting across different cultures and multiple generations.  Despite differences the common thread is our love for Jesus and it shows in our relationships with each other.
