Life Groups Ministry for the Fall: "When you are in a 'life group', you never go through life alone" is a common response from people.  This has been one of our goals for the life group ministry from its inception.  A place for people to belong, study the Bible, share about their lives with trusted brothers & sisters and pray together.

CBCOP has many life groups (aka fellowships or small groups) under the English, Cantonese and Mandarin congregations.  For more information look for Ministries under the menu bar and select Fellowships and then the congregation you are interested in.  Most groups start up in the Fall so this is a good time to get involved.

We are the Chinese Bible Church of Oak Park, a non-denominational church with English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking congregations located in beautiful Oak Park, a western suburb of Chicago.  We are one of the oldest Chinese Churches in the Chicagoland area (106 years and counting...).  In practice, this church unites three language groups into one body in love and in mission to proclaim and liave out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We help people connect with God so they can unlock the power and peace of the Gospel.  It is our hope to guide people to see the reality of God’s truth in their lives.   Help people where they’re motivated in exploring God’s truth by reading & studying on their own.   Help people to be more than hearers, but doers of the Word.   The goals of teaching have always been to Inform, Inspire, Illustrate the truth of God’s Word & the gospel (love) of Jesus Christ. Every person is unique so personal care from the church body is critical for spiritual growth.  Will you join us in that journey?
